It’s been a lot of fun, but the Banner Contest must come to a close. Thank you to everyone who submitted a banner. It shows that you are willing to put time and effort into putting your creative minds to work, and supporting us as a group.
However, some banners stood above the rest, and those are the ones we’ve chosen to add to our rotation. Hit the link below to see the winners – be warned, there are quite a few images.
Out of the 37 or so banners we received, we’ve chosen a total of 15 to be added. This means that there’s a total of 63 banners in our rotation. To “show off” the new banners, we’re gonna make it so that the new banners have a higher chance of showing up compared to regular banners, for two weeks or so.

It probably doesn’t mean much, but I really liked that AK banner of yours.
I don’t think it’s so much that your banner wasn’t good, but that AK left a bad taste in many of the staff members’ mouths (typesetting hell).
With that said, let me join you in your depression as I, too, wallow in sadness, knowing that my super-special-awesome banner was not accepted either. :P
