We had some good momentum when we started working on this volume, until it collided with the massive wall of typesetting that is the Character Introductions video. Not to mention one of our distro servers going down… for the past two weeks. But, at long last, we’ve got it all done.

No. Otherwise hellborn would have had to encode 3 or 4 different versions. 1080 at 10-bit and 720 at 8-bit is a compromise.

Required actions for Media Player Classic Home Cinema (MPC-HC) users
after xy-VSFilter setup completes sucessfully:
• Launch ‘mpc-hc.exe’
• Open the ‘View’ menu and click on ‘Options’

• Click on ‘External Filters’
• Click ‘Add Filter…’, select ‘DirectVobSub (auto-loading version)’

However: even if it improves the 10bit playback dramatically, you should be careful if MKV contains more then 1 ASS file. It plays the 1st file which is included in MKV, no matter of default track flag status.
Oops I haven’t been here in a while. I upgraded mostly according to Bishoujo Project’s optimisation. The problematic OPs & EDs work on my computer now. Now if there was a way to install something like this in the multimedia devices connected to my TV? =O

I must say, for a show I checked out 3 episodes in because the premise sounded so insane it had to be awesome, one that I assumed most people would ignore, I am SO happy that you’re translating the BD extras. This quickly became my favorite show of the season, I was estatic when the sequel was announced. Any way, thank you people for treating us so damn good.

Well, after skimming through the episode (and rewatching that awesome scene where the understudies fought against the machines with Beginner in the background), I realized the reason I missed it was because it wasn’t subbed. But, yeah, you’re right; “Ponytail to Shushu” was also used in Episode 3. Thanks for pointing that out.

The linux patch needs ‘xdelta’ on the second line changed to ‘xdelta3′ (at least for the 720p version). But once I did that it worked.

4 gig is nothing….. the filesize is no problem, 1-4gig is the average size for all BD volumes
storage is cheap, but bandwith / internet speeds isn’t, sadly.
I can torrent at 1 mb/sec so it’s really not a big deal getting lol large files, but people on crap 1.5mbit dsl (160 kb/s) or satellite or data caps have a harder time, sadly.

Check your codec and CCCP settings. I usually don’t fiddle with the codecs and leave them as it is.
Say, does Vol. 2 is the same as the TV version, albeit without a director’s cut?
