[Aho-Taku] Touhou Musou Kakyou Ep. 2v0 Release

Lazy Aya

So w0lf texted me while I was sleeping and was like “DUDE, I NEED A KFXER”. Apparently we were working on this Touhou animu.

Joint with Ahodomo.

This is a v0, due to bad raws. We’re waiting for an .iso.

Why am I in the credits? I flat-out didn’t do a thing for this release, including distro… though maybe I’ll give it a once-over for the v1.

Oh.. this is not what I thought it was, though now I have to go find ep1 for this..

How on earth did a doujin work get so many high-profile seiyuu?

    Thanks for the release!

Considering what happens in the library in episode 1, what’s likely going on here is that Marisa is taking books from the pile on the floor and putting them back on the shelves. Since she doesn’t actually say that she “can’t find” the fourth volume at 5:58, she may simply be making an observation that volume four isn’t there (on the shelf), as she puts the fifth volume back.

Similarly at 6:06, Marisa is probably looking for a place to put the book back based on the first word of the book’s title, rather than searching for the book for the purpose of taking it out. As such, instead of “Where’s ,” a better line here may be “Where should go?”

Just realised that the brackets in the last sentence of my last post went missing… let me try again.

… As such, instead of “Where’s [the book's title],” a more suitable line here may be “Where should [the book's title] go?”

^^ The source material cannot possibly be 1080p unless MAIKAZE’s rich enough to be selling BDs at comiket. It’s an upscale of probably 480p at best.

    Thanks for the subs.

Been a while since I’ve been to the blog. Unrelated to this particular release, I have to question why you’re wasting so much effort on shows that are being simulcasted with perfectly good subs when you have so much manga (read: Neptune) that’s going untranslated. (And I know you have the raws for it. I provided most of the early ones.) Just seems like the effort would be better spent elsewhere.

While it would be great if fan translation groups focused on the big picture and worked on lesser-known projects, that’s not how it works. We work on what we’re passionate about, and unfortunately nobody really wants to do Neptunia anymore. While I discourage the rest of the staff from picking up oversubbed shows, it will happen anyway if there’s enough interest.

Many people seem to forget that fan translation groups consist of humans with their own tastes, who would rather spend their time working on something they’re interested in than slaving over something they don’t care about.

Note that the file’s CRC-32 value is supposed to be 3164C789 and not 01B590DC. They never got around to fixing it, so you may wish to do it yourself.

    Thanks for the release.

Will timing be fixed for the v1? Unless I got a corrupt file (D056ADD1), or am having some playback issue, everything from 14:30 to the end is early by 4 tenths of a second.

Hell, the ISO itself (SDDD_1201.iso) is on nyaa. 夢想夏郷・第2

    @Canmore:
No, it doesn’t appear to have English subs on the disc like the first ep did.

There’s an edit on Ahodomo about a 576p forthcoming, though. Whether the above has some affect on that, I dunno.

Did you still need an .ISO? I’ve got one made that is 3.79gb in size (so I’d probably have to zip it in parts and upload it online to like mediafire or something. Or skype it over to you since skype can transfer files if you’d like. If not, ah well.
