Just curious, but why some people want the script? are you going to watch it with a RAW file?
Here are three wild guesses:
1) They want to further edit the script to fit their (archiving?) needs
2) They’re TLing from English to another language for another subgroup
3) They want to see the code for the karaoke effects

I realize it’s probably too late for this run, but I think in the final release it might be a better idea to change 研究生 to trainees and アンダー to understudies.
With English translation of kenkyuusei being not really applicable, it’s really up to the translator’s choice. Some people even use understudies for kenkyuusei (like the wiki article for AKB0048). As for “under”, well if you look at the manga AKB49, the protagonist is first Yuuko’s under (it’s also explained that to be under is to substitute), and then Mayuyu’s under.
I realize that it’s up to the translator’s choice, but “understudy” is not an accurate word to describe their job in the English language. An understudy’s job is to learn a role in order to temporarily fill in for a regular performer but that’s not the main role of kenkyuusei (in 0048 as well, since they had to explain to them what the “under” system even was).
While kenkyuusei are used as understudies often, in the past and still from time to time, regular members are called upon to fill in for another girl during a performance. In this case they’re acting as unders but they’re definitely not kenkyuusei.
I’ll admit I had minimal familiarity with AKB48′s system when I first started this show. I probably could have chosen better terminology, but one way or another, changing it now would cause too much confusion.
It doesn’t look like my choice has caused any misunderstandings among viewers so far, despite the technical definitions of the terms, so they’re probably going to stay this way.
Sorry, forgot to note that “stand-in” is also a technical term that doesn’t mean the same thing as “understudy”.
